Directorate Changes

Aukett Fitzroy Robinson Group Plc (“AFR”), the international practice of architects and interior design specialists, is pleased to announce the following board changes.

John Vincent, a qualified architect, joins the board today. John is Managing Director of AFR’s UK operation, a post he has held since 2005. Within his many years of architectural experience John has both designed and delivered buildings in the City and West End of London and in Germany, Hungary, the Middle East and nationally in the UK. His most recent building won the 2010 British Council of Offices Regional Award for Best Refurbished Workspace in London and the South East and gained an environmental BREEAM excellent rating. John’s first BREEAM excellent rating was gained in 1996 for the headquarters of Barclaycard.

At the same time, Raul Curiel and Lutz Heese, both non-executive directors, have retired from the Board. Raul will remain as a consultant to the practice on international matters and will continue to chair the European marketing meetings. Lutz is our joint venture partner in Germany where we continue to have strong business relationship. The board would like to thank both architects for their considerable support and contribution to the long term welfare and success of the business.

These board changes are part of AFR’s longer term strategy to maintain architectural skills from within the business at board level, and to provide further opportunities for succession planning of architectural staff within the group as a whole.
